$\left( V_{1} \times 16 \right) \times \frac{40}{100} = \left( V_{1} + V_{2} \right) \times 1.1 \times \frac{x}{100}$

∴ Strength of final solution, x = 9.7% (w/w) and 10.67% (w/v).
