(d) NaCl crystal is composed of two inter penetrating f. c. c lattices, one entirely composed of Na+ and another of Cl-. Each Na+ is located at half way between two Cl- and viceversa. For NaCl type structure.
a = 2(rNa+ + rCl-) = 2(95 + 181) = 552 pm
