Sol. ∆ P = $- \frac{B\partial S}{\partial x}$

S = S0 sin(Kx – ωt) or S0 sin (Kx + ωt)

⇒ ∆ P = –S0K cos(Kx – ωt) or –S0 K cos(Kx + ωt)

at t = 0, ∆ P = – S0 K cos Kx (For both directions of travelling)
