Solution
Sol. $(v_{cm})_{f} = \frac{m.O + ({m.v}) \times 6}{7m} = \frac{6}{7}v$
$(v_{cm})_{i} = \frac{({mv}) \times 7}{7m} = v$
∴ $(v_{cm})_{f} = \frac{6}{7}(v_{cm})_{i}$
