NaCl + AgNO3 → AgCl ↓ (white) + NaNO3 ; AgS ↓ (black).
Ag2CO3 and Ag2SO3 dissolves in dilute HNO3 liberating CO2 and SO2 respectively.
Both Ag2CO3 and Ag2SO3 are white. AgCl is white but insoluble in dilute HNO3. NaCl solution is neutral to litmus as it is a salt of strong acid and strong base.
