Magnetic field due to currentHard
Question
Two concentric coils each of radius equal to 2π cm are placed at right angles to each other. 3A and 4A are the currents flowing in each coil respectively. The magnetic induction in Wb/m2 at the centre of the coils will be : - (μ0 = 4 π × 10-7 Wb/Am)
Options
A.12 × 10-5
B.10-5
C.5 × 10-5
D.7 × 10-5
Solution
Magnetic field at centre of coil is B = μI /2r
Both coil are perpendicular to each other so magnetic field will also be perpendicular.
B0 = (B1 +B2)1/2
