X = u2 - u1 = 24

= 3 ⇒ v1 = 3u1 or u2 = 3u1
3u1 - u1 = 24 ⇒ u1 = 12 cm

D = v1 + u1 = 3u1 + u1 = 4 × 12 = 48 cm
