When a bar magnet of a magnetic maoment is placed in a uniform magnetic field , its potential energy is
      U = - = MB cos θ
Foer statble equilibrium, θ = 0o
∴ U = - = - (0.4JT-1)(0.6T) cos 0o = - 0.064 J
