All the oxidative enzymes of TCA are located in matrix except succinic dehydragenase. This enzyme catalysed the conversion of sucinic catalysed the conversion of succinic into funaric acid. The enzyme is an integral protin complex that is tightly bound to the inner mitochondrial membrane.Infact this enzyme for inner membranes when doing mitochondrial fractionations.
