SHMHard
Question
Equation of SHM is x = 10 sin 10πt. Find the distance between the two points where speed is 50π cm/sec. x is in cm and t is in seconds.
Options
A.10 cm
B.20 cm
C.17.32 cm
D.8.66 cm.
Solution
V = ω
(50π)2 = (10π)2 (102 − x2)
⇒ x = ±
= ±5
So, separation between points is
∴ ᐃx = 2 × 5
= 10
= 17.32 cm.
(50π)2 = (10π)2 (102 − x2)
⇒ x = ±
So, separation between points is
∴ ᐃx = 2 × 5
