Question
Two small conductors A and B are given charges q1 and q2 respectively. Now they are placed inside a hollow metallic conductor (C) carrying a charge Q. If all the three conductors A, B and C are connected by conducting wires as shown, the charges on A, B and C will be respectively:

Options
A.
B.
C.
D.0, 0, Q + q1 + q2
Solution
Since A, B and C are at same potential electric field inside C must be zero. for this final charge on A and B must be zero. and final charge on C = Q + q1 + q2. (By conservation of charge)
∴ All charge comes out to the surface of C.
∴ All charge comes out to the surface of C.
