Pancreas produces pancreatic juice which contains trypsinogen, chymotrypsin, carboxypeptidases, lipase, pancreatic α - amylase, elastage, nucleases. Out of these enzymes, the first three are concerned with protein digestion which finally converts protein into small peptides.
Other than these, pancreas also secretes insulin and glucagon hormones which acts antagonastically in controlling the blood sugar level.
