Net resistance of the circuit is 9Ω
∴ Current drown from the battery,

= 1A = current through 3Ω resistor
Potential difference between A and B is
VA - VB = 9 - 1(3 + 2) = 4V = 8i1
∴ i1 = 0.5A
∴ i2 = 1 - i1 = 0.5A
Similarly, potential difference between C and D
VC - VD = (VA - VB) - i2(2 + 2)
= 4 - 4i2 = 4 - 4 (0.5) = 2V = 8i3
i3 = 0.25A
Therefore, i4 = i2 - i3 = 0.5 - 0.25
i4 = 0.25A
∴ Current drown from the battery,

Potential difference between A and B is
VA - VB = 9 - 1(3 + 2) = 4V = 8i1
∴ i1 = 0.5A
∴ i2 = 1 - i1 = 0.5A
Similarly, potential difference between C and D
VC - VD = (VA - VB) - i2(2 + 2)
= 4 - 4i2 = 4 - 4 (0.5) = 2V = 8i3
i3 = 0.25A
Therefore, i4 = i2 - i3 = 0.5 - 0.25
i4 = 0.25A
